In de loop van de tijd en door veranderende levensstijl en kunstopvattingen werd de Soefidans be\u00efnvloed door de Tanoura dans
Deze Tanoura dans lijkt op de Soefidans met dezelfde formele regels maar verschilt door de afwisselende kleuren van de rok tijdens de dans.
bij deze rok koos zwart en wit als kleur voor de Tanoura, droefheid en geluk als symbool voor de eeuwige strijd tussen goed en kwaad. Nog voor de dans begint overheerst het zwart maar al dansend neemt het wit de overhand. Dit is de levensloop van de mens. Als de wereld stilstaat komt er een einde aan het leven en duisternis zal heersen op aarde. Maar als de wereld beweegt, dan overwint het geluk het verdriet en zullen goedheid en vrede samen heersen.\n\nMet de keuze van zijn kleuren, zegt Ahmad, bedoelt hij de mensen van Noord tot Zuid. Verschillende rassen en geloven leven op deze aarde en ontmoeten elkaar met harmonie en liefde in vreedzame co-existentie.\n\nDe drie verschillende lagen kleding van de Tanoura dans symboliseren de verschillende klassen mensen: arm en rijk.
